Sustainability

Growlift is a small, cloud-native product. Our environmental footprint comes almost entirely from the compute we rent — application hosting and the AI models we call — rather than from offices or hardware we own. This page describes what we actually do today. We would rather under-claim than greenwash.
Infrastructure
We run on Vercel and Neon, which host on hyperscale cloud regions (including AWS and Google Cloud) that operate on renewable-matched or carbon-neutral electricity per those providers' own public commitments. We do not operate our own data centers.
Efficient by design
The most direct thing we control is how much compute we burn. Several product choices cut it materially:
- Deterministic gates (rankability scoring, the anti-slop and YMYL checks) run as plain code, so we reject unsuitable work before spending model tokens on it.
- We cache SERP, crawl, and authority data and reuse it within its freshness window instead of re-fetching.
- Retention sweeps delete stale data automatically, so we are not paying to store — or back up — data no one needs.
- We pick the smallest model that clears each task's quality bar rather than routing everything to a frontier model.
What we do not claim
We do not currently publish a formal carbon inventory, purchase offsets on your behalf, or hold a third-party environmental certification. If that changes, we will say so here with the underlying numbers, not a badge.
